MEETING TIME CHANGE:<br />Please note the monthly meeting time has changed. We now meet the third Saturday of every month at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library. The Executive Committee meeting is from 1 to 1:30 p.m. and the Membership Meeting is from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Board Members

Arthur E. Duncan

Arthur E. Duncan is an Executive Chef and musician with a long history of entrepreneurship and involvement in small business. He is the owner of a limousine company, a piano teacher and the Minister of Music for Higher Praise Contemporary Gospel Group. Duncan is a Sergeant of Arms for the National Action Network. A member of the NAACP since the 1980’s, he currently serves as the Chair of Community Coordination for the Springfield chapter.

Dr. Akinniran Oladehin

Dr. Akinniran Oladehin is a professor and Department Head of the Department of Physical Therapy at Missouri State University. He earned a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy at New York University and taught in physical therapy programs at different institutions including the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, where he was employed 19 years. He is published in both clinical and basic science journals, and presented his research work at national and internally levels. Oladehin is a member of American Physical Therapy Association, American College of Sports Medicine, American Society of Neurorehabilitation, and The Gerontological Society of America. He has served in various capacities in many service organizations and is a member of Springfield’s Sunrise Rotary Club.
